I took a Clearblue digital pregnancy test last night at 8pm and it came back positive. To be sure I took 2 First Response tests and they were negative showing only 1 line. I took one after the Clearblue last night and one this morning (not first morning urine though because I forgot). Is it a false positive or should I test again a week or so later? I know false positives are very rare but I also know First Response is more accurate because it uses a pink dye. I would like some opinions and how to go about this, thank you!

Yes and it came up negative. Right now I’m just waiting and seeing my doctor next week to see if maybe it was a false positive or not. I have symptoms but so far I only have had one positive (the clearblue)

Digital tests require more hcg than line tests. If your digital was positive I’d say you’re pregnant!! Take a few more and see if anything progresses! Congrats!!

Although I’m not trying I was sad to be getting negative tests after the positive. I’m seeing my doctor next week to see if it was a false positive or not. I might take a test before then but we shall see!

Do you take any bition supplements? FRER will show negative if you do due to the makeup of their tests. I experienced this with my last pregnancy. I stopped my supplement for a few days and tested with one again and it was a blazing dye stealer.

I also took the clear blue digital test and it was positive, I then took the first response digital test the next day and it was negative. I am heading back to the store tomorrow to get more tests but this is so confusing! I did take the clear blue first thing in the morning (DPO 11) and then the FR was DPO 12 and later in the afternoon.
