Has anyone had positive pregnancy tests and then two days later had a negative one and ended up being pregnant? I don't know when my period is supposed to start since I haven't had one since my miscarriage. My hgc levels were back to zero about three weeks before my positive pregnancy test. I should get my blood results back tomorrow afternoon. I'm really nervous that they were a false positive or that I'm having another miscarriage. My urine was really clear in the negative test so that could have been why too.

No such thing as a false positive but there are false negatives. Congrats mama!

There are such things as false positives... This was mine three weeks ago. I was bummed when every test afterward was negative including Drs. I would call your dr and ask for a beta test. Good luck!

Those are typically referred to as chemical pregnancies . Happens all the time to women ttc. Just an early loss before anything could be seen on ultrasound . Your period usually comes on time to a few days late when a chemical occurs .

Yes. A chemical pregnancy. I've had a positive, and two days later a negative, and a few days after that my period. Bummer. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though.

My hgc is 36 and progesterone is 1.6. So the dr said it is either really early in the pregnancy or the pregnancy is not taking. I need to go back in tomorrow for more bloodwork.

I've had a pregnancy test be positive then negative and ended up having a miscarriage but my friend also had the same thing and her hcg was 26 and now has a beautiful baby boy.

That gives me some hope! I am trying not to get my hopes up too much though. I'm waiting on my results from today's bloodwork. I should hopefully have a better idea on what to expect when I get those. Not knowing what is going on is driving me crazy!

Today's hgc was 54 and progesterone was 2.4. She said that the progesterone is a little low but as of now it looks like I am pregnant :-). I am still really nervous though because of the low number

I have this exact situation! I know this post is old but I have to say something somewhere before I lose my mind sitting here..

4/9 I got a faint positive on a line test.

4/10 & 4/12 I got a positive digital

4/12 I went to a Clinic and tested two line tests with faint positives.

4/14 today I took a digital but it took 10 mins and came out negative, but also oddly my dog got ahold of the box and I found them out of the box and on the floor. I didn't see any damage to the package but I am not 100% sure.. so I don't know if it could be the culprit?? (Hoping it is)

I go back 5/3 to have a checkup since she said she thought I was 4 weeks, but still too early for the ultrasound..

I'm praying that 5/3 turns into a good day.. I am 37, no kids and I have always wanted kids, have had a miscarriage 6+ years ago, but have been trying with my Husband for about 2 years now and haven't had any luck until now..

I had some bleeding today. I do not think that is a good sign. Going into the Drs tomorrow to get my numbers tested again. :-(
